David Bales commissioned some research into William and Grace, and the following notes have been extracted :
The researcher gave the above baptismal data.
He reported that the father's occupation in 1813 and 1815 was husbandman. In 1813, the family were living at Polkeath, and in 1815 at Fore Downs.
William Bray batchelor, and and Grace Penhall spinster, both of this parish, were married at St Austell by banns on 17 August 1802. Both made their mark. The witnesses were John Thomas and John Julyan.
