Origins of the Stodart family
This information is based on an original parchment family tree in my possession, drawn by Arthur Smart in 1933, and based on work by a Mrs Rose and others. The original work was probably undertaken because the lineage is important in Scottish history. I have entered most of the data on this chart, and am returning to work on other Surnames. I will return here later to work out what I need to validate the information.
