My web design philosophy is that I start with the basics to get your web presence functional and included in Search Engines. I then work with you to get the page appearance to your satisfaction using good design principles. I help you set up your Domain name and Web Host, if required, and give you all access codes etc.
Then we look at the content in detail, to ensure your site objectives are met. Finally, we can add the bells and whistles you need for maximum customer satisfaction. It is imperative that your site meet the needs of your customers. Only then, can you hope for there to be a benefit to your Company or yourself.
Your home page needs to do two things. It must impart a message to viewers (within a few seconds), and it must make every viewer want to spend time exploring your site. If they commit to exploring, the content then becomes important, and people might bookmark the site to return again. This, then, is the key to a successful site.
I like to start simple because we can explore several formats easily and cheaply. Once the basics start to be settled, we can add and enhance the site till everything works and fits together. The many design rules and conventions will be discussed and applied along the way. I am able to consult in your premises or at home after hours and on weekends at no extra charge (subject to location and agreement).
